Rescue & Retreat
Acres of Hope Ranch is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit equine and farm animal sanctuary and therapeutic retreat space in Longmont, Colorado. We empower individuals to find healing and restoration through the therapeutic power of horses and the beauty of nature, providing a safe and nurturing environment that fosters growth, community, and collaboration.
How We Serve
From equine therapy to community retreats, every program is built on the belief that healing happens through connection.

Equine Therapy
Ground-based interaction with rescued horses that promotes emotional and physical healing through the unique bond between humans and horses.

First Responders
Dedicated programming for firefighters, police officers, paramedics, and their families to decompress and heal from the weight of their calling.

Retreats & Events
Self-guided retreats, family campouts, and youth events in a tranquil setting where people can catch their breath and reconnect.

Animal Sanctuary
A forever home for horses and farm animals who have endured neglect, starvation, and abuse — each one welcomed with compassion.

Born from Loss. Built on Hope.
Tony and Heather Gamberg each lost their mothers in 2009, just 11 days apart. From their shared grief came a vision: a place where brokenness becomes belonging, and pain is turned into purpose.
